Covet & Noir is the creative partnership of interior designers Maria Lindgren & Adele Lonergan. Having worked together in award-winning studios for years on projects in London and NYC, they have developed a strong partnership and unique style as well as their own black book of suppliers and artisans. Influenced but not swayed by trends, Covet & Noir create confident neutral aesthetics - emphasising calm colours and organic materials - adding antiques and artwork to create timeless, distinctive interiors for their clients to retreat to.
Maria studied BA Interior Design at the University of the Arts in London. She then proceeded to work for a high end property developer where she gained valuable experience of the construction side of the industry before joining an award winning interior design studio as their senior designer, leading the team in private residential design. Maria adds a scandinavian design sensibility to a project and believes that luxury doesn't need to be a room full of beautiful objects, rather a perfectly curated mix of high-quality, conscious and sentimental items.
With an inherent interest in design from a young age, Adele studied BA History of Art (Hons) at the University of York. Adele has a strong passion for art that she brings to every project. She understands how important it is to curate pieces that both enhance the space and work in harmony with the overall aesthetic. Adele has worked across commercial, residential & hospitality design but feels most creatively fulfilled when working on residential projects.
Elvis, the three year-old French Bulldog has been working full time in interior design since he was a puppy. He is now a valued lead designer of the team and has a fine eye for detail and impeccable taste.
